FASE 1
Bring your talent to the spotlight!
The selected WAJOW-youngsters consist of everyone between fourteen and twenty-five years old living in Brussels or Flanders, with an interest in film and online content creation. Whether you are or a rookie or pro, it doesn’t matter. WAJOW wants to explore the world of digital media together with you!
WAJOW SELECTION
FASE 2
Your WAJOW-adventure begins once you've been selected.
Our workshops and masterclasses will give you the opportunity to tell your own unique stories.
You’ll learn about script development, production, casting, post production,… and much more so you can make your very own vertical short film.
We want young people to think about the future of cinema and content creation. Nowadays, there are so many ways to tell a story. Many youngsters immediately think of the traditional horizontal films, but the vertical screen in your pocket also has a lot of potential.KICK OFF - HOW TO
FASE 3
(PRE-)PRODUCTION & EDITING
The participants delvelop their script, cast and do all the other preparation before they can actually shoot. Afterwards it's time to shoot and to learn everything about post-production. We offer personal guidance through the whole process, without hindering the creativity of the young people.
FASE 4
It's showtime! After nine months of hard work, it's finally time to showcase the vertical video's the WAJOW-youngsters have made. The results are shown at the Point of U-filmfestival and promoted on multiple platforms such as: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok...
The WAJOW-results are also automatically selected for the POU-competition in which various awards can be won.
